Refund Policy

1. Our model: pay only if you love it

At Matrimonio.pro, the user creates and previews their complete invitation free of charge and only pays when deciding to publish it. This "create now, pay when you publish" model lets you see the final result before paying anything, keeping causes for dissatisfaction to a minimum.

2. Nature of the product

The Service consists of digital content and services that are delivered and become accessible immediately after payment (publication of the invitation and unlocking for sharing). By its nature, it is not a physical good subject to material return.

3. Satisfaction guarantee (voluntary)

Independently of legal rights, we offer a voluntary commercial guarantee: if after payment the invitation has a technical defect attributable to us that we cannot resolve, or if the user is not satisfied for a reasonable cause, they may request a refund within 14 days of payment. We assess each case with flexibility and good faith. This guarantee does not replace or limit the legal rights described below.

3 bis. 100% bespoke invitations: the deposit and its guarantee

The 100% bespoke invitation (an exclusive design created from scratch by our team) is paid in two parts: a 30% deposit when ordering and the remaining 70% once the invitation is finished. The deposit reserves the team's design hours and starts the work.

Deposit guarantee: if the first design proposal does not satisfy the couple, 100% of the deposit is refunded, with no justification required. Simply reply to the email in which we send that first proposal. Beyond that stage — that is, once the first proposal has been accepted and work has continued — the deposit is no longer refundable for a change of mind, without prejudice to the legal rights in section 4 and the guarantee in section 3.

The own .com domain for one year included in this option is subject to availability of the name. If the desired domain is unavailable, alternatives will be offered; a registration already completed with the registrar is governed by its own terms (section 5).

3 ter. Optional extras and included features

One-time extras (for example, a custom domain or the seating planner when offered as an extra) follow the same rules as the invitation: as immediately-executed digital services, the per-country legal rights described below apply. The gift registry generates no Platform charges: we do not process guests' money or charge commissions, so there are no refundable amounts under that concept. For customers in Brazil, in addition to the voluntary guarantee, we honour the 7-day withdrawal of art. 49 CDC if the invitation has not yet been shared with guests. For customers in Argentina, the Botón de Arrepentimiento is available.

4. Legal rights by country

European Union Consumers have 14 days of withdrawal in distance contracts. As this is digital content with immediate performance, this right lapses when the user has expressly consented to the immediate start of the service and acknowledged the loss of the withdrawal right — consent that is requested before payment. The legal conformity warranties for digital content remain intact.

Argentina Consumers have 10 calendar days to withdraw (art. 34 Law 24.240; Res. 424/2020). You can exercise it by writing to contact@matrimonio.pro. The Owner will refund the amounts paid as required by the regulations.

Brazil Consumers have 7 days to withdraw from purchases made off-premises (art. 49 CDC), with a refund of the amounts paid, adjusted for inflation.

United States Purchases of digital products are, as a general rule, final once performance has begun; nevertheless, we apply the voluntary satisfaction guarantee described above and honor any rights recognized by applicable state law.

5. When a refund does not apply

• When the invitation has already been published, shared and used for its purpose, except for a technical defect attributable to us or the exercise of a mandatory legal right within its deadline.
• When the reason is a change of mind outside the legal withdrawal periods and without a defect in the Service.
• In cases of fraudulent or abusive use, or use contrary to the Terms and Conditions.
• With respect to third-party services already provided (for example, the registration of a custom domain already processed), which are governed by their own terms.

6. How to request a refund

Write to contact@matrimonio.pro indicating: the couple's name or the invitation link, the email used, the payment date and the reason for the request. We will reply as soon as possible. If you wish, you can use the following wording: "I hereby withdraw from the contract for the invitation [link], purchased on [date]".

7. Timelines and refund method

Approved refunds are made via the same payment method used for the purchase, at no cost to the user, within a maximum of 14 days from approval (or the shorter legal period applicable in your country). How long the amount takes to appear depends on the payment provider and your bank.
